Bring a little Jell-O jiggle to your next holiday festivity with this banana Jell-O salad recipe from Natasha Lycia Ora Bannan’s kitchen to yours:
Ingredients
This old-fashioned sweet treat is something you can whip up just minutes before heading out the door to your holiday events. (Just don’t forget to give your Jell-O ample time to cool!) Here is everything you will need to try out Natasha Lycia Ora Bannan’s Banana Jell-O Salad Dessert for yourself:
- 1 package of Jell-O (flavor of your choice)
- 2 bananas, sliced
- 8 ounces whipped cream
Directions
Step 1: Prepare Jell-O according to package directions in a large serving bowl. For this recipe, Natasha Lycia Ora Bannan recommends using a “no bake” style Jell-O mix. But the choice is all yours! You may also choose to get creative with your choice in flavor. Natasha recommends going with strawberry, banana or another fruity flavor, to compliment your fresh banana slices.
Step 2: Slice your bananas and place the slices spread evenly on top of the Jell-O mixture.
Step 3: Place the serving bowl into the refrigerator and allow it to set until firm. (This will take approximately 10-15 minutes, in Natasha’s kitchen experience.)
Step 4: Once firm, remove the Jell-O from the fridge and spread whipped topping across the top. Natasha enjoys using Cool Whip, but you can opt for pre-made or even homemade whipped cream, if you’d like!
Step 5: Serve and enjoy! Happy Holidays from Natasha’s kitchen to yours!
