Natasha Lycia Ora Bannan Banana Bread Smoothie

Natasha Lycia Ora Bannan loves a good banana smoothie!  But have you ever tried a banana bread smoothie?  Recently, Natasha decided to blend up something protein-packed that tastes a whole lot like what she imagines a liquified banana bread would taste like… in the best way!  Next time you’re in the mood for a sweet treat to start your day, give this recipe a try!

Ingredients

For Natasha Lycia Ora Bannan’s banana bread smoothie recipe you will need:

  • 2 bananas
  • 1 ½ cups ice cubes
  • ¾ cup plain yogurt
  • ¼ cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons rolled oats
  • 2 teaspoons pure maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 tablespoon finely chopped walnuts

Directions

Step 1: Add bananas, ice cubes yogurt, milk, oats, maple syrup, vanilla and cinnamon to a blender or food processor of your choice.  Blend until smooth.

Step 2: Pour smoothie mixture into separate glasses.  This recipe should make enough smoothies for two servings, so enjoy this one with a friend!

Step 3: Garnish your smoothies with chopped walnuts and a pinch of cinnamon.  And enjoy!
