It all began when Natasha Lycia Ora Bannan was asked to bring a treat to a party with friends.  Playing into a running light-hearted joke, Natasha decided to show up with banana bread.  And well, the rest is pretty much history!  Ever since, she has been on a quest to find the absolute best recipes that use bananas as an ingredient.  Readers have come to love her zany way of creating new banana bread recipes.  But by now, it has evolved into so much more than that!  Natasha is passionate about finding creative ways to use bananas in different dishes, both sweet and savory.  A truly versatile fruit, the possibilities are endless, from appetizers to desserts!

Outside of her banana based recipes, Natasha Lycia Ora Bannan is also passionate about cake decorating.  After taking a class at her local library, Natasha fell in love with the artistic approach to decorating a cake.  Treating each cake like a blank canvas, the amateur baker designs gorgeous displays for holidays, birthdays and every other special occasion.  Natasha looks forward to opening up a bakery of her own, where she will be able to offer both baking and cake decorating services.  For now, she is available for custom commissions and bakery consultations.

For more than ten years, Natasha Lycia Ora Bannan has worked in bakeries in her community.  Along the way, she has maintained numerous roles, including Store Manager.  Each opportunity has introduced her to different corners of the business of running a bakery.  By now, she’s fully confident in her abilities, both as a baker and a businesswoman in this delicious industry.  The next step is to open, own and operate her very own bakery.  But for now, she is available to consult other small business owners and entrepreneurs working in the bakery industry.
